Porcelain veneers
Hand-layered e.max by a master ceramist in Phoenix we have used for eleven years. Typically six to ten units across the smile line. Expect fifteen to twenty years with reasonable care.
Veneers are irreversible. So we build yours in wax first, convert it into a temporary you wear home for a week, and change whatever you want changed — length, width, colour, how much shows when you smile — before a single millimetre of enamel is touched.

Dr. Marchetti is one of fewer than four hundred AACD-accredited dentists worldwide. The accreditation is not marketing — it is a clinical case examination most applicants fail.
A full photographic series, a 3D scan, and a long conversation about what actually bothers you. Bring photographs of smiles you like and, more usefully, ones you do not.
We convert the wax-up into a temporary bonded straight over your own teeth — nothing drilled, nothing removed. You wear it home for a week, eat with it, and photograph it in daylight.
Only now does anything become permanent, and only to the shape you already approved. Minimal-prep means we typically remove 0.3–0.5 mm of enamel, not the full-crown reduction some offices still do.
The porcelain is tried in with water first so you see it before it is cemented. If a single tooth is not right, it goes back to the ceramist. Nothing is bonded until you say yes in the mirror.
A surprising number of cosmetic consultations end with whitening and two hours of bonding rather than ten units of porcelain. We will always show you the smallest intervention that gets you there.

Chips, small gaps and worn edges rebuilt freehand in a single visit. Reversible, a fraction of the cost, and genuinely the right answer more often than the industry admits.
In-office in about ninety minutes, or custom take-home trays over two weeks. Take-home gets you further; in-office gets you there by Friday.
A gummy smile is often a gum problem, not a tooth problem. Laser recontouring under local, healed in about a week.
Severe wear, erosion or bite collapse rebuilt to a stable vertical dimension. Six to twelve months, staged so you are never without teeth.
Twelve years of edge wear from grinding, closed and lengthened with eight minimal-prep veneers and a night guard to protect the investment. Photographed under the same lighting, unretouched.
Only if they are designed to. Fake-looking veneers are almost always too white, too uniform in length, and too flat. Real teeth have translucency at the edges, slight variation between the centrals and laterals, and surface texture that catches light. That is why we use a hand-layering ceramist rather than milling the front eight, and why you approve the shape on your own face first.
Typically 0.3 to 0.5 mm on the front surface — roughly the thickness of a fingernail. Some cases, particularly crowded teeth being brought into line without orthodontics first, need more. If yours would need aggressive reduction we will usually recommend aligners for a few months first so the veneers can stay thin. That is a longer, cheaper path and we would rather you took it.
Fifteen to twenty years is a realistic expectation for well-made porcelain in a mouth that is protected at night. The commonest cause of early failure is grinding, which is why a night guard is included in every veneer case here rather than sold to you afterwards.
Purely cosmetic work, no. Where a tooth is genuinely broken down or a veneer is restoring real structural damage, some plans contribute — we submit it and let them decide rather than assuming. Most cosmetic cases here are financed through Cherry or CareCredit at 0% over twelve to twenty-four months.
